How'd They Meet?
Perry and Ariele met at Emory University on September 8th, 2005 at a Decatur, GA eatery called MamaFu's, thanks to Ariele's high school pal and Perry's fraternity brother, Alex. Ariele was in the midst of a mid-life crisis at 18; she had just dyed her hair reddish. Perry had recently finished playing softball and was sporting a nice, healthy glow. Two days later, they ran into eachother at an AEPi party, and then again two days later on Perry's 21st birthday. Perry asked Ariele out for pizza, Ariele asked Perry out for golf --- it was a match made in cheese and sport heaven.
Then What?
After being coined Periele, the couple enjoyed 2 happy years at Emory and adopted a cat named Ralph. When Perry graduated, they dated long distance for a year. In August of 2008, the duo moved into Ariele's parents house in Rye Brook. Neil, Michele, Perry, Ariele, Wawa and Ralph co-habitated for a (mostly) happy year, enjoying free food and lots of sports viewing. Eager to fly the coop, Periele moved to the Nolita area of Manhattan where they lived merrily alongside ancient Chinese families, old mobsters and hip youngsters alike. They currently live in Brooklyn, NY, and finally have more than one closet between them.
